Choosing a Pendulum

I had a fascinating visit yesterday with Wendy, the owner of the Philosopher’s Stone, located in San Diego. I’ve never met anyone with more gemstone knowledge than Wendy and yet, when I asked her what stone would be good for ancestral work (using a pendulum), she said “My mind doesn’t work that way.”

When I asked her what she meant, she told me that the best way to choose a pendulum was to pick it up and ask it directly. (You’ll need a prior knowledge of which swinging direction is yes and which is no).  As I’m currently working on an ancestral-related book, I picked up one pendulum after another and asked the question.  Many said “no”; some said a weak “yes”.  But one pendulum in particular not only said “yes”, it said “YES!”.

What was the stone? Sardonyx – a type of onyx with white streaks. And, in certain light, the white streaks look almost pale blue.

I’m not quite sure yet how I’m going to use this particular pendulum – it hasn’t made itself known to me yet – but I can’t wait to see how it wants to help.
