Modern Witch Tarot Journal – So much more than a blank book!

The Modern Witch Tarot Journal – A Must for Tarot Journalers

For Your Daily or Almost Daily Tarot Draws

I have fallen out of the habit of daily Tarot draws, but just before COVID-19 lockdown back in March 2020, I went back to pulling at least one card a day, sometimes more. My draws were typically related to topics like

  • how can I best use the energy of this day
  • what do I need to be aware of today
  • what’s my best action today
  • keyword for the day
  • what do I most need to know today

As I began to add Lenormand to my repertoire, I would do a three or five card spread as a prediction about my day.

At the end of the day I would often return to the journal to check on how my prediction went (!) or to look back over the day to see what I had done well and what I could have improved on.

If you’re like me, your Tarot notes are probably either in super pretty journals or on any piece of paper that’s within reach! This is where the Modern Witch Tarot Journal comes in.

What exactly does the Modern Witch Tarot Journal Include?

First, just in case you were wondering, the journal isn’t just a book with blank pages. You’ll find sections on Tarot card meanings, spaces to record your own readings and interpretations, spreads you’ve collected, and notes of your own Tarot deck and book collection.

I think one of the parts I liked best was The Tarot Circle. This the the circle of those around you who help on your journey. The Circle members could be your best pals – like my friends Fred and John – or those you’ve never met in person. You’ll find suggestions on holding your own Tarot meetup as well as pages that are almost like an old-fashioned address book; it holds your Circle members names, social media handles, their favorite decks, and interests.

For a fountain pen user like me, I’m super jazzed about the paper quality as I can use my fountain pen without a bleed through. This might not seem important to you, but for a fountain pen junkie like me, paper quality is a ‘thing’.

Which Edition Should You Buy?

The Modern Witch Tarot Journal comes in Standard and Special Limited editions.

Modern Witch Tarot Journal

What I like the very best about the Journal is that it’s so much more than a Journal. It’s a place to keep track of the readings I do for others and for myself. It’s where I can jot down notes about Tarot topics that cross my mind, and save spreads I want to use at some point in the future. I would actually call it a Tarot Storehouse – a place where all things in your Tarot life can be saved.

Thanks to Liminal 11 for giving such thought to the things a Tarot Journal really needs to include.

P.S. What About Those Lenormand Cards?

The Modern Witch Tarot Journal has plenty of room to record readings using Tarot cards as well as other divinatory tools, like Lenormand. For me, that’s an unexpected bonus as I ‘read’ Tarot, but I play with predictions using Lenormand. The deck pictured above is the Friar’s Delight Lenormand.
