Sidewalk Oracle September 23, 2020

I stopped in my tracks when I walked by this vine of the most alien-appearing flowers ever. I don’t know if the edges are frilly because it’s on it’s last leg, or whether this is IT in full-bloom.⁠

What I do know is that this flower was so happy to have its photo taken. (Remember how many times I’ve said that flowers love being admired?) ⁠ .⁠ I ask you this . . . . how is it that Mother Nature knew (without checking the Internet) that purple and yellow go perfectly together? She’s really amazing, isn’t she?

P.S. @onoreo on Insta told me it was a Passion Flower. My app told me that too, but I didn’t believe it! My bad.
