Partly Cloudy But Clearing
Backstory. Years ago I worked with Jessica Macbeth in learning both healing and Tarot. Jessica, author of the Faeries’ Oracle, had her own way of teaching. Instead of pulling out a Tarot deck and teaching one card at a time, she asked that I answer questions using only a chocolate chip cookie as my guide. This series was born out of those years of reading not just Tarot, but everything from cookies to pieces of paper to abstract images. Enjoy!

The Cookie Forecast For this Week
This week begins on a partly cloudy note. People around you are going to be a bit crankier than usual. But don’t worry, their attitude isn’t about you personally. Instead it’s about something that happened not long ago that made them feel burned or burned out. Their shields are up and they’re going to feel entitled to snap at you and everyone around them.
Fortunately, you can begin to bring in sunnier weather by simply listening to them as well as letting them know that you’re really, really hearing what they’re upset about. Deal with them with an open heart if you can. They’re a bit like a little kid who doesn’t trust that the world is a safe place. It’s up to you, especially Monday and Tuesday, to let them know that their world is going to be okay.

- There are a couple of unfinished threads this week. This is a great time to clean up and clear up anything left over from last week. You’ll be VERY happy that you did, especially if one of those threads involves a misunderstanding with a loved one.

Fortunately, the week will end on a high note, with a slight dip on Thursday. After that, it’s clear sailing through the weekend.

My granddaughter Megan, after months of being told she must be dyslexic because the letters were blurred and seemed to be moving around on the page, was finally given an eye test. Now she has new glasses and the letters stay put on the page and most of her headache has gone away.
